The United Nations Special Advocate against Corruption welcomes the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities (IAACA) (25.10.2019).
The International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities is the organization in which national anti-corruption authorities come together to facilitate the implementation of the UN Convention against Corruption in the field (UNCAC, 2003). Founded in 2006 and chaired by Dr. Ali Bin Fetais Al-Marri, the United Nations Special Advocate against Corruption, it now includes organizations from more than 140 states.
On the occasion of the last meeting of the Executive Committee, held in Geneva on October 25, 2019, Ministers, Ambassadors and High Level Executives of the fight against corruption had the opportunity to reaffirm their firm commitment on the ground and to to strengthen the strategic axes of the Association. In preparation for the upcoming IAACA Annual General Meeting, ambitious training and cooperation projects have been launched, particularly in Asia for the first half of 2020.
