The ROLACC Geneva receives a courtesy visit from the Ambassador of the Central African Republic (31.10.2019).

The ROLACC Geneva receives His Excellency Leopold Ismael SAMBA, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Swiss Confederation, Permanent Representative of the Central African Republic to the United Nations Office at Geneva, to discuss the issues of corruption in the African regional scale.

In addition to a dialogue on the effectiveness of regional and international instruments in the fight against corruption, the visit was an opportunity to discuss the possibilities of future cooperation between ROLACC Geneva, the center of the United Nations Special Advocate against Corruption. It was decided that ROLACC would shortly receive a delegation of judges and officials from the Central African civil service in Geneva. The training will focus on the latest anti-corruption tools and techniques.

ROLACC thus reaffirms its determination and support to States wishing to acquire competence in the fight against corruption and the preservation of the rule of law.
